After a sweet summer romance, leather-clad greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy are unexpectedly reunited when she transfers to Rydell High for senior year. Can they survive the challenges and drama of teenage life and find true love once more? There’s only one way to find out, and that’s by singing and dancing their way through one of the world’s most popular musicals, Grease.
An eight-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals, along with innumerable school and community productions, secure Grease’s standing in the world of musical theatre. Audiences just can’t get enough of Danny, Sandy, Rizzo, Kenickie and the gang. Now the popular show is set to hit the Savoy Theatre stage in Glace Bay on May 22. The cast is also expecting to see some Pink Ladies and T-Birds in the audience.

“The cast members are lucky to have the opportunity to work under any one of these mentors. We can’t wait to see the final product,” Leader adds.
