The Town of Port Hawkesbury has announced the schedule for the 2018 Granville Green outdoor concert series which will be held each Sunday from July 1st to August 5th at 7PM. This is the 24th year for the free outdoor concerts held at the Granville Green bandshell in Port Hawkesbury.The series is presented by NuStar and Bear Head LNG with other community minded sponsors who support the series.
Exxon Mobil is the proud presenter of the opening acts, and this year’s openers are all from Atlantic Canada. It will be exciting to hear the great music our region has to offer; keep your eyes on these artists as they continue to grow and make us proud!
This year’s series features nationally-recognized artists as well regional favourites who will appeal to all ages. The 2018 Granville Green lineup is as follows:

July 8 Steven Page with Jon Hines
July 15 Bruce Guthro with Jodi Guthro
July 22 The Town Heroes with Party Boots
July 29 Rawlins Cross with The Hypochondriacs
August 5 Fred Penner with Dylan Menzie
As in previous years, the concerts are free and those attending are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for seating comfort. Nonprofit groups will be fundraising by selling food and tickets each night, and contributions for the foodbank will be received weekly at the vending tent located next to the stage. In case of inclement weather, the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre will be used as the backup venue.
