…AND THEN THEY FALL / I WAS A SPY / ERMINE – Friday, May 9 @ The Maple Leaf … AND THEN THEY FALL have become known for their no frills approach to rawk – the boys let it all hang out, with Brent and “Boud” laying down a heavy bed track to Nick Beaton’s cutting vocals and bell ringing guitar work. As for ERMINE, you’d swear they were from here. These New Brunswickers have become crowd favourites with the indie scene in Cape Breton and have developed quite a reputation for throwing down one heck of an emotionally charged and complex musically arranged shows. Not to be missed! There is no arguing that I WAS A SPY are going places. Probably one of the more determined and most respected underground bands in Cape Breton right now, the three members of this band all bring something different to the table but come together to create a wonderfully gnashing musical mosaic that all at once challenges an audience member and drags them to their feet. $ 5 / $4 with condom. ID required. Presented by the original Rodfather.
