Twin sisters Michelle Newcombe and Monique Delisle of Sydney, inspired by their recent trips to the Cannes Film Festival in France and the Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood, will be stopping in Halifax July 22 to 24 for their next reveal at the Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council Summer Market in Victoria Park.
“We’re really excited to be in our home province to reveal our latest creation,” Michelle said on a break from their Upper Prince Street studio where they have been combining their talents for the past six years designing and constructing high quality fashion handbags and clutches for the everyday woman and high fashion world.
The province’s top artists and craftsmen are expected to feature their wares in downtown Halifax where Spring Garden Road, South Park Street and Martello intersect, across from the Public Gardens.
Michique handbags have been accepted around the world by some of the most famous including Angelina Jolie who received a slick black evening clutch from Michique’s Couture line while attending the Cannes Film Festival.
The new product launch next week will be offered at a special introductory price only during the NSDCC Summer Market. Once the show is over, you won’t be able to purchase again until it becomes available online at www.michique.ca in September 2011.
