Saturday April 9th at 10am the Baille Ard Nature Trails Association will offer an Orienteering program. The program will be a map, sheet of symbols and instructions. Participants will practice orienting themselves in a few places along the trails using local landmarks. Then they’ll identify which way to go to get to the next point.
This program is open to all ages. Participants are asked to bring a pencil, notepad and compass if they have one, but it is not required for the lesson. Participants are asked to meet at the Sherwood Park Education Centre soccer field parking lot at the far end of Terrace St.
