Every year at Christmas, I open presents from family that all fit into a distinctive theme “Joel likes sweaters.” They are right in this assumption. Every time I open up a new box with a nice new sweater inside, I get excited. I try it on and it’s always cozy and nice and feels like a warm hug on a cool day.
What I look forward to, every year, is the day when the weather makes the switch. We all know the switch I’m talking about. It’s the change from shorts and a t-shirt to jeans and jackets. That’s when my wardrobe shines. That’s when I can open up my closet, greet my many sweaters, and say in my best Rafiki impression “It is time!”
That’s what I look forward to this time of the year. Sweater weather.
