Thursday February 17 at the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion a unique event will serve as a fundraiser for local not-for-profit organization Pathways to Employment.
The evening will begin at 5:00PM with a wine and cheese reception. From 5:30PM to 8:00PM there will be a gourmet soup competition and silent auction. Participants in the soup competition include: Allegro Grill & Deli, Black Spoon Bistro, CBU Hospitality Management, Flavor, Governors Pub & Eatery, Kiju’s and Loaves & Fishes.
Susan Covey will lead off the cocktail hour with piano and vocal classics while Carl Getto will lead a 6 piece jazz band for the second half.
Pathways to Employment teaches woodworking skills to help those with mental illnesses enter the workforce.
