It’s time to crush cancer with a fundraiser that promises fun, laughter and a whole lot of song. It’s the Eagle’s Cancer Crusher Karaoke Marathon, planned and hosted by announcer Nikki Sullivan, to raise money for Relay for Life and the Cancer Society of Nova Scotia.
Sullivan will be joined in the 13-hour singing fest by local musicians including ECMA winner Mike LeLievre (Slowcoaster, Jordan Musycsyn Band), Aaron Lewis, Andrew Doyle, Ross Hunter and Paul Turner.
The goal is to raise $5000. People don’t have to donate to sing, however, they can donate to request a song be sung for them. Donations can also be made via Sullivan’s fundraising page, on site the day of, by phone or using the text to call method.
The Eagle’s Cancer Crusher Karaoke Marathon takes place Wednesday, May 28 at the Mayflower Mall, outside Future Shop.
