No need to start ranting. Not now. Think about what life’s gonna be like in Sydney, or anywhere in the post-industrial communities of the CBRM in the next few years. Is it rosy? What can we do about it? Vote?
It’s hiring time in the Municipality. Who should we be paying to run this community of communities? What are your concerns? We got Talk Back back, what else do we need to make this community hum? I’m sure your local mayoral or council or school board candidate would be happy to hear from you with any ideas you may have in terms of how to turn post-industrial Cape Breton Island’s economy around without destroying everything it’s meant to support. You wouldn’t expect someone to hire you without an interview. Would you?
