In conjunction with Coal Dust Days, the Coastal Arts Initiative will be hosting an exhibition of works by artists from New Waterford and area. The exhibit will be located at the Coastal Arts space in the Carmel Centre on Mount Carmel Avenue. Opening night is this Sunday, July 19th from 7:30pm-9:30pm, after the Coal Dust Days parade. The exhibition continues Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm.
Featuring works by Scott Moore, Corey Katz, Sam White, Ashley McKenzie, Nicole McNeil, Sarah MacDonald, Nelson MacDonald, Jayme Burns, David Hutchinson, Beth Ryan, Thomas Clarke, Karen Buchanan, Blaire Flynn, & Onni Nordman.
Coastal Arts will also be hosting an exhibition at CBU Gallery II this August and are looking for submissions. If you are interested in exhibiting your work, please e-mail info@coastalarts.ca for an entry form. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, July 30th.
