The Live Event Community is hosting #LightUpLive THURSDAY evening – asking technicians, suppliers and venues across the country to light the night RED – raising awareness for an industry that is still dark as a direct result of COVID-19. Open Doors: Cape Breton Women in Harmony hosted a successful performance tour of Downtown Sydney on Saturday! Eight female performers across four small local businesses. The deadline for the Music Nova Scotia Artist Development Program is October 15th. If you’ve thought about applying in the past but felt overwhelmed by the process, great news: Music NS is hosting an information session to help get you started. You have two sessions to choose from: Monday, September 28 – 2PM and Tuesday, October 6 – 7PM. All sessions are the same but you can attend more than one if you’d like to. RSVP here.
