On Friday, July 22nd, from 2-4 pm, each municipality is hosting an event showcasing the unique elements that make Cape Breton #1. The CBRM event will be held adjacent to the Civic Centre on the Esplanade and will feature cultural entertainment and a performance by J.P. Cormier & the Elliot Brothers. On site will be a ‘speaker’s corner’ type video booth, where residents can congratulate Cape Breton on these accolades.

Richmond: St. Peter’s Visitor Information Centre, 10259 Grenville St.
Victoria: Baddeck Visitor Information Centre, 454 Chebucto St.
Town of Port Hawkesbury: Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre

These events are open to the public and are free of charge. All are encouraged to come out and help celebrate these new designations!
