That line inspired the same titled song and the video shows Potter strumming her guitar in front of a microphone, shelves of fluffy towels facing her, a plastic shower curtain at her back. Bandmates Eric Leclerc, Liam Finney, Adam White and Nick Everett can be glimpsed at their instruments through the open door of the bathroom as they enjoy six cold days of recording in a home studio in December 2010.
Now based in Halifax, Potter grew up in Sydney lending her voice to school choirs, amazing audiences during solos with her big voice, until she auditioned for Canadian Idol and earned a golden ticket to Toronto. The experience taught the necessity of originality and inspired her songwriting efforts.

Having just finished a cross Canada tour this past summer with Cape Breton’s Tom Fun Orchestra, Potter is ramping up promotion towards the June release of her EP.
Every Tuesday, Potter will be releasing a new YouTube video documenting the inspiration behind her songs and the process of recording them.
After the June 3 release of her 6 track EP, Potter is planning a summer tour of Atlantic Canada.
