Eric Lortie moved to Cape Breton in 2009 and learned how to write code. Some of the code he's written has been used by Bell, the Government of Canada, many major north American sports teams, Disney and people who like to go camping in suits of armour. He's a founding member of the CaperCon Pop Culture Society and the vice-chair of the Cape Breton Regional Library board. He advocates for geek culture, education, tech, entrepreneurship and inclusiveness. His family is awesome. His cats are not. He is 72% beard.
